ADVANCED STAND UP COMEDY CLASS

Advanced Stand Up Comedy Class at Mic Drop Comedy! Join our advanced six week stand up comedy class, and add new material to your existing set. Every week will be an interactive class that will cover different topics. This is for anyone that has already started stand up comedy as well as former students of the intro to stand up class! This class will be an interactive atmosphere with a strong focus on writing to develop new material, live performing, as well as booking and navigating yourself through the scene.

This course is led by a professional stand up comedians with years of experience. The class simulates a small show environment that gives each student an opportunity to be on stage each session. Much like the intro class, there will be a final live showcase, each student will perform for at least 8 minutes!

This series of classes meets each week on Saturdays from 10am-12pm beginning May 23. The classes will take place on the following dates May 23, May 30, June 6, June 20, June 27, and final class is July 4. The classes will culminate with the student showcase on Saturday July 11 in front of a live audience in the Main Room at Mic Drop Comedy San Diego.
