Chris Sneed has spent more than 20 years making audiences laugh and nearly two decades working in healthcare, where the characters are real and the comedy writes itself. A Los Angeles–based comedian, actor, and producer, he turns the pressures of work, relationships, parenting, and getting older into sharp, unmistakably human comedy. His stories pull you in with something familiar, then hit you with the part you never saw coming.

A staple of LA’s comedy scene, Chris has performed at the Laugh Factory, Comedy Store, and Hollywood Improv. His one-hour special, I Need Urgent Care, captures his candid humor and seasoned stage presence. He recently launched his tour with a headlining engagement at Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma, Washington.

Beyond stand-up, Chris produces the live comedy series I Need Urgent Laughs and creates original sketches and experiences through I Need Urgent Care: Wellness Journey, exploring what it takes to feel better when life keeps giving you material.

Whether he’s talking about a hospital shift or a family situation, Chris makes one thing clear: everybody’s dealing with something, and it’s probably funnier than they’re willing to admit.
