ADVANCED STAND UP COMEDY CLASS

Advanced Stand Up Comedy Class at Mic Drop Comedy! Join our advanced six week stand up comedy class, and add new material to your existing set. Every week will be an interactive class that will cover different topics. This is for anyone that has already started stand up comedy as well as former students of the intro to stand up class! This class will be an interactive atmosphere with a strong focus on writing to develop new material, live performing, as well as booking and navigating yourself through the scene.

This course is led by a professional stand up comedians with years of experience. The class simulates a small show environment that gives each student an opportunity to be on stage each session. Much like the intro class, there will be a final live showcase, each student will perform for at least 8 minutes!

This series of classes meets each week on Saturdays from 10am-12pm beginning Oct 10. The classes will take place on the following dates Oct 10, Oct 17, Oct 24, Oct 31, Nov 14, and final class is Nov 21. The classes will culminate with the student showcase on Saturday, Nov 28 in front of a live audience in the Main Room at Mic Drop Comedy San Diego.

Waitlists are available for sold out shows. To join the Waitlist, you must be present at the venue prior to showtime on the day of the event. You will need to provide your name and how many tickets you'd like to purchase. About 10-15 minutes after the show starts, we will go through our showroom and find the empty seats available and sell tickets in order of arrival.
