ADVANCED STAND UP COMEDY CLASS
Advanced Stand Up Comedy workshop at Mic Drop Comedy! Join our advanced six week stand up comedy workshop, and add new material to your existing set. Every week will be an interactive workshop that will cover different topics. This is for anyone that has already started stand up comedy as well as former students of the intro to stand up class! This workshop will be an interactive atmosphere with a strong focus on writing to develop new material, live performing, as well as booking and navigating yourself through the scene.
This course is led by a professional stand up comedians with years of experience. The workshop simulates a small show environment that gives each student an opportunity to be on stage each session. Much like the initial workshop, there will be a final live showcase, each student will perform for at least 8 minutes!
This series of workshops meets each week on Saturdays from 10am-12pm beginning Sep 27. The classes will take place on the following dates Sep 27, Oct 4, Oct 11, Oct 18, Nov 8, and final class is Nov 22. The classes will culminate with the student showcase on Saturday Dec 6 in front of a live audience in the Main Room @ Mic Drop.
